Fantasy Football Legend Thierry Henry To Make Premier League Comeback

 

Arsenal Manager Arsene Wenger has confirmed Thierry Henry will sign a two-month loan deal to return to Arsenal provided insurance agreements can be made with Major League Soccer team New York Red Bulls. Wenger commented: "For two months it certainly will happen. I don't take care of the agreement and the insurance and that is not completed. At the moment we cannot announce anything because all the paperwork is not done." Thierry Henry scored a collosal 174 league goals and 77 league assist in 8 impressive seasons with the Gunners, putting him top of many Fantasy Football Managers wish lists.

Henry started his career with Monaco in 1994 and then had a short spell with Juventus in 1999 before being reunited with his former Monaco coach Arsene Wenger at Arsenal. Wenger transformed Henry's career by switching him from a winger to a striker and reaped the dividends over the next eight years as the player helped Arsenal to two league titles and three FA Cups, and he became the club's all-time record goalscorer. Henry then moved to Barcelona three years ago and was top scorer at the Nou Camp in his first season and was an integral part of the squad that clinched six trophies in 2008/09 under rookie coach Pep Guardiola. With first team opportunities begining to be limited, Barcelona president Joan Laporta confirmed Henry would goin the New York Red Bulls.
